PRML (Pattern Recognition & Machine Learning) Lab is recruiting participants for brain engineering experiments.
Our experiments require you to imagine the word-based tasks while in different languages (English or Chinese).
We will also record your brain activity using EEG (Electroencephalogram), which is safe and non-invasive.
We conduct experiments at Aegineung Student Center and reward participation with ₩35,000 per hour.
You may choose to participate in this research study if you (your):
- are 20 years or older (Korean age)
- are healthy (no neurological and psychiatric disorders)
- first language is either English or Chinese
Then you can:
- earn up to ₩105,000 (3 hours) via wire transfer to your account (this may take several weeks)
- help us improve research into imagined speech
You will be able to sign up for one of the time slots listed below:
- Thursday, December 2nd (10:00 am / 2:00 pm / 6:00 pm)
- Friday, December 3rd (2:00 pm / 6:00 pm)
- Saturday, December 4th (10:00 am / 2:00 pm / 6:00 pm)
- Sunday, December 5th (10:00 am / 2:00 pm / 6:00 pm)
- Monday, December 6th (10:00 am / 2:00 pm / 6:00 pm)
- Tuesday, December 7th (10:00 am / 2:00 pm)
- Wednesday, December 8th (10:00 am / 2:00 pm / 6:00 pm)
- Thursday, December 9th (10:00 am)
If you are willing to participate in this research, please send me an email (kw-lee@korea.ac.kr) including your first and second choice of time slots. I will reply to you regarding availability and more detailed information about our experiment as soon as possible. Time slots are on a first-come-first-served basis.
For example: “Hello! I want to participate. My first and second choices are December 4th 10:00 am and December 6th 6:00 pm.”
